Week 2, Sept 10 to 14

We are moving on with math module 6. This week we should be able to complete 1 lesson a day. Grade 4's are on lesson 3, grade 3's are on lesson 1. The hardest for grade 3 students is the steep increase in vocabulary they have to read every day. It's a huge leap for them, the greatest in their academic career. We will get new vocab words. I will let you know what we accomplish as the week progresses.

Monday day 5: running
Tuesday day 1: tea
Wednesday day 2: running
Thursday day 3: all good
Friday day 4: 'verification'

• Wednesday Sept. 19, Home and school meeting at 7 pm in the library
• Thursday Sept. 27, Terry Fox run; curriculum night from 7-8
• Friday Sept. 28, Pizza
• Tuesday Oct. 2, Photo day
• Sunday Oct 14, Scotia Bank Kids' marathon (very early this year!!)
