We had a great day today. The routines seem easier to follow and much work is being done. It is only in September and October that we need our biggest push from home. They need to learn their multiplication tables so that math problems can be solved without the fear of numbers. The 2 times table is pretty solid for most. But the 3 time table needs much more work. Already next week we move on to 4, 5 and 6.
Gr 4 students have vocab in French and in English for a dictée tomorrow. Gr 3 have vocab words for their dictée tomorrow. In math Unit 6 lessons 1and 2 should be complete. In cursive, a, c, d, g, q, o should look more natural with practice.
Please keep the tea cups coming. Our first tea will be Tuesday next week, day 1.
