There is water fountain in the classroom and another one right outside the classroom. Some students do like to have their own water bottle and those are kept on the counter with the tea cups. We do not allow water bottles on the desk because they tend to get books all wet.
For running, a light small water bottle, that's easy to carry is the best bet, especially when it is so warm outside. Sometimes Claude and Claire come to meet us with a camel outfit to quench our thirst, but not for every run so be prepared! And Claire is in grade 1 this year so she will not be running with us; we'll miss her.
