Wednesday is day of Pink. Students are encouraged to wear something pink to fight against gender discrimination. The story goes that a grade 9 student on his first day at his new high school wore a pink shirt. He was made fun of and ridiculed for wearing pink. In a show of support for him the entire football team wore something pink the next day. Worth fighting for!
Next Wednesday, April 10 is our Caribou contest and it is the Day of Pink.
Friday May 3, Grades 4 are going to Medieval times $40
Friday May 10 Area 34 is going to Warren Park $7.50
Friday June 21 grades 3 are going to Pioneer Village $14
